About Joanna Skrzypczak, Yoga Instructor

Joanna grew up in the city of Maracaibo, Venezuela. She was blessed to be born in a family of metaphysicians. This helped her to be in touch with her spiritual path from a young age. She started developing a personal yoga practice everyday at home in 2014 when she arrived in Montreal. The search and passion to study her deep-self made her explore different areas. In 2017, she got certified with her first level of Reiki and she started going to a Buddhism center that helped her understand the truth about compassion and how our mind works.

In 2018, she got her second level of Reiki, and a few months after she went to a yoga and sacred rituals retreat in Val-David, the participation of a Temazcal ceremony opened a new world for Joanna.

She decided to go deeper in her yoga practice, so she started going to yoga classes almost everyday and in November 2018 she was already enrolled for the 2019-2020 YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) with her mentor Hervé Blondon (Swami Premananda Saraswati) at École Satyam de Hatha Yoga in Montreal. In 2019, she started her journey to become a yoga teacher and since then, yoga has become a part of who she is nowadays. She has been participating in different workshops like women’s therapeutic yoga and mudras for healing and wellness.

Joanna’s always finding new ways to build a better world and being a yoga teacher is one of them. There are so many benefits of this ancient Indian practice that she’d love to share this path with you.

’’The beauty of yoga is that we’re always in a constantly inner transformation, learning more about ourselves each day.’’

Joanna.
